Frequently asked questions

What are AI credits, and what happens if they run out?

They’re the monthly allowance that lets you use the features based on artificial intelligence: photographing a label, asking for a pairing in “What are we eating?”, searching for missing wines during an import. They renew automatically on the first of every month. If they run out early, you can still use all the app’s other features (searching the archive, entering bottles manually, browsing your cellar); for the AI features you can wait for the monthly renewal, earn more by inviting friends, or buy extra credits or switch to the Premium plan.

Why can’t I find my wine in the archive?

Beviamolo’s archive grows every day thanks to user contributions, but it doesn’t yet contain every wine in the world. If you can’t find it, you can still add it with “Enter manually”, or — if you have a photo of the label — let the AI try to recognize it.

Can I have more than one cellar (a fridge, a real cellar, a shelf)?

Yes. You can create as many cellars as you like, each with its own name, location and grid size, and move bottles between them at any time. See the Cellars and grid chapter.

What happens if I move a bottle from the wishlist to my cellar?

When you buy a wine you had on your wishlist, open its page, tap “Edit” and change its status to “Cellar”: you’ll be able to choose which cellar and which position to put it in, exactly as with a new bottle.

Does the app work without an internet connection?

Partly. If you’ve already signed in before on that device, you can browse your cellar even offline thanks to the data saved locally. Features that need artificial intelligence or access to the shared archive, on the other hand, require an active connection. As soon as the connection comes back, the app syncs automatically.

How do I report a problem or make a suggestion?

Go to Settings → “Info, Terms & Contact”: you’ll find email addresses dedicated to technical support and suggestions, as well as contacts for collaborations.

I’ve lost access to my authenticator app: how do I get back in?

Use one of the emergency codes you saved when you set up two-factor authentication. If you no longer have them, write to technical support from Settings → “Info, Terms & Contact” for help recovering access.
