Transparency: clean energy and respect for your data

A cellar app lives on servers: every label photo, every search, every bottle you save goes through computers that run day and night and use electricity. That’s why we chose carefully where Beviamolo runs, and how we handle the data you trust us with.

Servers powered by renewable energy

Beviamolo runs on Infomaniak, an independent Swiss provider that has put the environment at the heart of its choices. According to the company:

its electricity is 100% renewable, mostly hydroelectric;
server heat isn’t wasted: its new data centre in Geneva feeds all the energy it uses into the city’s district heating network, warming homes instead of the air;
its data centres are cooled with outside air;
the company’s environmental management is ISO 14001 certified, since 2015.

For us this isn’t a technical detail: it’s exactly why we chose this provider. These figures come from Infomaniak, and the sources are on its website: environmental commitment, certifications, heat recovery in Geneva.

Your privacy comes first

We handle your data in line with the GDPR, the European data protection regulation, and we genuinely care about it: the app only collects what it needs to work.

Servers in Switzerland. The European Commission recognises Switzerland as providing an adequate level of data protection.
No trackers, no ads. We don’t profile the people who use the app and we never sell your data.
Your phone stays behind the scenes. When the app uses artificial intelligence, requests go out from our servers, so outside services never see your device’s address.
Your data stays yours. You can view, correct and export it, and delete your account at any time, right from the app.
