Wines and producers

Besides your personal cellar, Beviamolo gives every user access to a shared archive of wines and producers, which keeps growing over time.

Searching for a wine in the archive

When you add a bottle (see the Your cellar chapter) and choose “Search archive”, enter the wine’s name and producer: if it’s already there, you’ll get its technical page right away — grape varieties, structure, alcohol level and other information enriched by AI — ready to use, whether you already own that wine or not.

Adding a bottle from the catalog

From the page of a wine you found in the catalog, tap “Add bottle”: the wine will already be filled in for you, and you just choose the quantity, status (cellar, wishlist or drunk) and, if applicable, a position, as described in the Your cellar chapter.

Reporting an error in a wine’s page

The archive is shared and also improves thanks to the reports of the people who use it. If you notice wrong or missing information in a wine’s page — a grape variety, the structure, a pairing — you can report it with “Report errors in this sheet”: the team reviews it and, if needed, corrects the shared data.

Customizing a wine’s page for yourself

Besides reporting an error in the shared page, you can create your own version of it: tap “Customize sheet” at the bottom of a wine’s technical page to edit, just for you, whichever fields you like — description, pairings, structure and everything else. Fields you don’t touch stay whatever the AI suggests, even if they’re later updated or corrected by other users. Your customizations are private: no one else sees them, and they never change the shared page. You can restore the AI page at any time with “Restore AI sheet”. If you’ve customized a wine, pairing search (see What are we eating?) will use your version instead of the shared one.
