Account and settings
In Settings you’ll find everything about your account, from your profile to security.
Your profile
At the top of the screen you’ll find your personal card with your nickname (editable at any time) and the email you sign in with.
AI credits and photo slots
The features based on artificial intelligence — label recognition, food-and-wine pairing, searching for missing wines during an import — use up AI credits, an allowance that renews automatically on the first of every month. In Settings you can always see how many you’ve used and how many are left, along with your plan’s quota of uploadable label photos (photo slots). If you need extra credits you can buy them directly from here.
Free and Premium plans
Beviamolo can be used for free with limited monthly AI credits; the Premium plan offers more credits, unlimited Excel/CSV imports and other benefits. The comparison between the two plans is always visible at the top of Settings.
Your badges
Badges mark the milestones of your cellar, and you’ll find them in Settings, in the “Your badges” section: First bottle (you get it as soon as you add your first one), Collector (20 bottles), Sommelier (50), Ambassador (5 invited friends who signed up) and Veteran (one year on Beviamolo). Some may arrive a day later, because the app checks them again every night. Your first badge also unlocks the “Invite friends” section.
Invite friends
Every user has their own invite code, which can be copied or shared with a direct link from the “Invite friends” section. For every friend who signs up using your code and adds their first bottle, you receive AI credits as a gift, up to a maximum shown in a progress bar. This section unlocks with your first badge, that is, as soon as you add your first bottle.
Security: password and two-factor authentication
You can change your password at any time from the dedicated entry. For extra protection, you can turn on two-factor authentication (2FA): once set up, besides your email and password you’ll be asked for a 6-digit code generated by an authenticator app (for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or 2FAS).
The guided setup asks you to: install an authenticator app on your phone, scan the QR code shown on screen (or enter the code manually if you can’t scan it), type in the 6-digit code it generates to confirm activation, and finally save your emergency codes. Keep them somewhere safe: they let you sign in even if you lose the phone with your authenticator app, and they won’t be shown to you a second time.
Appearance and language
You can choose the app’s Light or Dark theme, and your preferred language (or leave it on “Automatic (system)” to follow your device’s language).
Syncing and clearing the cache
The app also keeps a copy of your data on your device, so it still works with a poor connection. If you suspect something isn’t up to date, tap “Sync from server” to force it to download the latest changes. “Clear local cache” instead deletes the data and AI responses saved on your device (it doesn’t touch your cellar, which stays saved online).
Switching phones
On Android, when you set up a new phone by transferring the data from the old one, Beviamolo finds you already signed in: no need to log in again. This only works with a direct transfer during setup, with the old phone switched on and at hand. If the old phone is gone, simply sign in again: your cellar is stored online and comes back in full the first time you open the app.
Logging out or deleting your account
“Log out” signs you out of this device without touching your data. At the bottom of the page, in the “Danger zone”, you’ll instead find “Delete account”: it permanently and irreversibly deletes your account, cellars, bottles and notes. The app always asks you for explicit confirmation before proceeding.
